Support the development of a Texas-specific flood social vulnerability index
May 2022 - June 2023
Technical support of advocacy work to eliminate combined sewer overflows in the Charles River
Manage two Massachusetts 604b grant projects to design Green Stormwater Infrastructures in the towns of Medfield and Medway
Support Charles River watershed towns to meet their Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit requirements
Perform GIS spatial analyses to support engineering, technical services, and communications
Conduct water quality monitoring fieldwork, train and work with volunteers
Conduct outreach and education to schools on best management practices for reducing stormwater runoff and improving water quality
June - August 2021
Collected up-to-date information on stakeholders and applicable legal frameworks for several water utilities in California, New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
Streamlined and organized action plans for each water utility for different emergency scenarios (Emergency Response Plans).
Completed project evaluation forms and wrote a report to support the application to the State Revolving Fund Program for two Massachusetts towns.
September - December 2019
Reviewed project documents and interviewed stakeholders to lay the groundwork of an environmental and social impact assessment for a cocoa transformation plant.
Wrote the environmental and social impact assessment report of a cocoa transformation plant in Cote d’Ivoire.
Organized public consultation meetings with local communities affected by the project.
March - September 2019
Researched and collected up-to-date information on a Cameroonian watershed’s physical characteristics and economic activities connected to it.
Designed and implemented a hydrological model of the watershed to predict its behavior in scenarios of high-intensity precipitation.
Authored a technical report synthesizing insights learned from modeling the watershed and provided recommendations to improve hydrological predictions
July - September 2018
Collaborated with field operators to collect operational data for two water treatment stations.
Monitored the performance of two water treatment stations to compare their capital costs and efficiencies.
Synthesized and presented findings on design tradeoffs of the treatment plants to senior management.
